As a holistic wellness practitioner, I am trained and qualified to offer Somatic Experiencing (SE) as part of my services. Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, body-focused approach to healing from stress and trauma, helping individuals reconnect with their bodily sensations and restore a sense of balance.

Training and Certification: I have received my Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Certification, having completed the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner’s training, personal sessions, and case consultations required. This training provides me with the knowledge and skills to guide you through this method of processing trauma and stress effectively and safely. My training ensures that I am equipped to support you in using SE techniques to enhance your emotional well-being.
  2. Scope of Practice: My focus is on helping you manage stress, reduce physical tension, and increase your sense of relaxation and well-being through SE. I am not a licensed mental health professional, so if you are dealing with complex trauma or mental health issues that are beyond the scope of my practice, I will recommend consulting with a licensed mental health professional who can provide the specialized support you may need.
  3. Collaborative Approach: I value a collaborative approach to wellness.
    • The practitioner and client work together to create a safe, supportive environment.
    • Grounding exercises and open communication help establish this foundation.
    • The client is encouraged to set boundaries and voice concerns.
